Whilst the lengthening days hint at the coming warmer season, many of those we serve and support continue to face hardship and challenge with little or no sign of respite.

Thank you for your support whether gifts, donations or volunteering that have enabled us to navigate a difficult winter.

We appreciate your ongoing support where every action contributes to the work we do together.

Thank you for all your recent generosity, your generosity of time, food gifts and financial support are essential to maintain the work of Open Hands and appreciated by the Charity and those who we seek to serve and support.

For some the pain of energy bills is eased for the summer but for many the debts to repay those increased costs remain and reflect in the higher numbers we support in the summer months

Gifts (financial and foodstuffs) are appreciated even in the summer months as we seek to enter the autumn and winter months on a solid financial footing

How quickly we leave Christmas behind and move towards Easter!

Whilst we look forward to brighter weather, the effects of fuel poverty will impact many for months to come.

It was a pleasure to recently show trustees of the Bryan and June Amos Foundation around our operation and for them to meet some of our volunteers

Following their meeting we were delighted to receive a very generous gift that will do much to enable us to continue our work in these challenging days

We wish all of our supporters a happy Christmas and thank them (and our volunteers) for their generosity of their time, money and resources.

It is also an ideal opportunity for local schools and business to contribute either with food or monetary donations

Please let us know if we can help in any way

We rely on our volunteers to enable the running of the foodbank

We appreciate their commitment and contribution

We are always keen for new volunteers to help pack food parcels at our Reigate site or to deliver food parcels to our local clients
